The band takes its music out to people during the year and we learn what it is like to perform in public.
Concerts during Summer have included the North of England Rolls Royce event at Harewood House and Brodsworth Hall for English Heritage, Elsecar Heritage Centre and various galas and events at local schools and churches. We also participate in the Annual Silkstone March Contest and Christmas carolling locally to raise funds.

As a family band we organise social outings as well. We go ten pin bowling, ice skating, an adventure park trip each year and a Winter Pantomime. Every year the band organises a Brass Master Class to give the players an opportunity to benefit from the talent and expertise of world class tutors.
